2023 is a fruitful and remarkable year for "Remote Reading Fellows" project. Thanks to all the donation and people support us, we have:
Besides the numbers, we also received lots of positive feedbacks from both volunteers and the students, which gives us more confidence to continue this project and keep bringing joy & volunteerism to more people.
I'd like to quote one of our volunteers words as our year-end highlight:
'We don't the right to decide where we were born, but everyone has the right to pursue happiness and dreams. In many cases, a person‘s future is dertermined by his vision. When we record books for these left-behind children with different acents, it exposes them to different voices, opens their eyes and let them know that the world is very colorful, not just where they live. I hope that the project can give them courage to chase their dreams.'In the coming year, we hope to support more left-behind children in China and connect them with more diversifed reading fellows' voices with love.
