Dear Valued Donors,
We always share our quarterly treatment figures and activity updates with you, but today, we are bursting with excitement to share something truly transformative.
As you know, blood is the lifeline for children with Thalassemia. Their survival depends on regular, life-saving transfusions every month. But here is the harsh reality: blood cannot be manufactured in a lab or factory. Humans are the only "machines" that can produce and donate it. This means we must go out—to universities, to remote communities—and motivate people to give the gift of life.
Until now, this has been a logistical nightmare. Our teams would pack equipment, travel to far-flung locations, and set up camps, only to face power outages and extreme heat. By the time the collected blood reached our bank, it was often spoiled.
The ones who suffered the most are our precious Thalassemic children.
That heartbreak ends now.
We are thrilled to announce that Al-Mustafa Welfare Society has added a fully equipped Mobile Blood Collection Unit to our blood bank! This is not just a van; it is a state-of-the-art, self-sufficient blood donation center on wheels.
Here is what makes it a game-changer:
No dependency on external power: With solar panels, a generator, and heavy-duty batteries, we can operate flawlessly anywhere—even in areas with no electricity.
Climate-controlled storage: The insulated interior and powerful air conditioning maintain a perfect 22-25°C environment, keeping collected blood safe and viable even in scorching heat.
Multi-donor capacity: Four donors can donate simultaneously in a comfortable, private setting.
Complete medical setup: From blood mixers and sealers to a 100-bag blood bank refrigerator, oxygen cylinder, and a doctor's workstation—everything our team needs is right inside.
This unit allows us to go anywhere, collect blood safely without any hassle, and bring it straight to our blood bank for our children. No more spoilage. No more delays. Just pure, life-saving blood reaching the little ones who need it most.
We are incredibly proud of this milestone, and it is only possible because of your unwavering support. Together, we are not just collecting blood—we are collecting futures.
Thank you for standing with our Thalassemia heroes and us.
With heartfelt gratitude,
