Relief Fund for Colorado Flooding Survivors

It was not that long ago that we wrote a report on this project telling you we have not raised much, well at this time we are very happy to say, with much appreciation, that we have reached our goal. This accomplishment is all thanks to you, our donors who generously gave from your heart. 

We have predominently been working in Greeley Colorado these past months, along with partners and schools. We have been able to help with food, and supplies, along with holiday gifts for the children affected by the flooding. We have a 15 year old youth volunteer that did a stuffed animal drive called "Bear Hugs" for Colorado Children; nine very large boxes of stuffed animals were given to the children during the holidays, and along with your help the people had a wonderful day of giving together. The new pictures attach are pictures of the stuffed animals and parents picking out gifts for their children and having them wrapped by staff volunteers. We do not have pictures of the feast that was prepared and meals given out to the families that lost all their belongings, but their thanks goes out to each and every one of you who have supported them in helping put their lives back together.

A direction has been found for the funds that are still yet to come from Global Giving for Colorado, there will be another report to follow up when that is in place. I would like to thank each one of you again and wish you the Happiest of New Years.
