However, In 2020 the Covid-19 pandemic brought the entire world to a stand still. In these testing times, generous people from across the world came together to help those in need. COVID-19 has hit the extreme poor more than any of us. As we all practice social distancing let us not distance ourselves from the most vulnerable whose survival depends on our generosity.
As a response to the war against coronavirus, Akhuwat is providing relief to the most vulnerable, particularly old persons, daily wager laborers, and street vendors. Initially, we aim to support 100,000 families through several of our programs.
