There is no rehabilitation center in or near Thari Mir Wah. Children with cerebral palsy (CP) and other disabilities suffer without access to therapy or support. This project will build the first local rehabilitation center to serve disabled individuals and CP children with physiotherapy, speech therapy, mobility aids, and vocational training-helping them lead healthier, more independent lives.
Thari Mir Wah has no rehab facility for people with disabilities, including children with cerebral palsy. Families must travel long distances for care-often impossible due to cost. Without therapy, CP children remain dependent, develop deformities, and miss out on education. The lack of local services leads to lifelong disability, isolation, and poverty. Poverty and stigma deny children/adults critical therapy, worsening mobility and mental health.
We will build a rehabilitation center offering services to all disabled individuals-especially children with cerebral palsy. Therapy will include physiotherapy, occupational and speech therapy, assistive device support, and counseling. Staff will be trained in CP-specific care. The center will be accessible, inclusive, and community-led to ensure long-term local benefit through. CP Rehabilitation Physical Therapy Assistive Devices Parent Training & Vocational Skills
This center will provide ongoing therapy for children with CP and others with disabilities, preventing further complications and promoting independence. It will reduce stigma and improve quality of life, education access, and employability. As the only rehab center in the area, it will serve as a long-term resource for hundreds of families in Thari Mir Wah and nearby villages.
