+1Code empowers underserved youth in Brazil by providing free, high-quality training in technology, digital skills, and career development. We work with young people from low-income and marginalized communities, helping them break the cycle of poverty through access to education, mentorship, and real job opportunities in the tech sector. Our mission is to transform raw potential into employable talent, preparing future-ready professionals while promoting diversity and inclusion.
Millions of young people in Brazil, especially those from underserved communities like Jardim Pantanal, face limited access to quality education, digital tools, and career guidance. While the tech industry grows rapidly, these youth are often excluded due to a lack of digital literacy, formal training, and social connections. Traditional education systems are not designed to prepare them for the demands of the modern workforce, especially in areas like programming, data, artificial intelligence.
+1Code provides free, high-quality training in technology to young people from low-income communities, with a practical, hands-on approach. Through in-person and hybrid programs in locations like Jardim Pantanal and Colegio Mao Amiga, students learn programming, digital skills, soft skills, and even English, everything they need to thrive in the digital economy. The project connects youth with real job opportunities, mentors, and access to tech platforms.
Over time, this project will help build a more inclusive, diverse, and prepared workforce in Brazil's tech sector. By training youth from vulnerable communities and connecting them with real opportunities, we not only increase their income and quality of life but also reduce social inequality and strengthen local economies. As they grow, they inspire others, creating a ripple effect that transforms entire communities
