Thanks to the work of the members, allies and the HIC-AL office, as well as the video and social media campaign developed with the support of the GlobalGiving project, we reinforce our arguments in favor of the inclusion of social production of habitat and local material in Mexican public politicy. Currently, the Federal Government Housing Program 2019-2024, which we were invited to build and review, recognizes the social production of habitat in priority strategy n. 16 and in different objectives. Local materials are mentioned 21 times in the text and approaches aimed at promoting their use in housing construction are found in different objectives and strategies of this document. The above, together with years of work and experiences in the field, will strengthen this form of production for the benefit of thousands of people in conditions of social backwardness throughout the country.
Gracias al trabajo de miembros, aliados y de la oficina de HIC-AL, asi como del video y campaña en medios que pudimos realizar a partir del proyecto con GlobalGiving, pudimos implementar y visualizar nuestros argumentos a favor de la inclusión de la producción social del hábitat y los materiales locales en la política pública mexicana. En la actualidad, el Programa de Vivienda 2019-2024 del gobierno federal, que fuimos invitados a construir y revisar, reconoce la producción social del hábitat en la estrategia prioritaria n. 16 y en diferentes objetivos. Los materiales locales están 21 veces en el texto y los planteamientos destinados a impulsar su uso en la construcción de viviendas, se encuentran en objetivos y estartegías distintivas de este documento.
