Hello friends!
It is with immense joy that we share another result of our project. In June of the year 2023, significant weather events hit our city. Two schools - Soneca Municipal Kindergarten School and Nossa Senhora de Fátima Municipal Elementary School - in the municipality of Santo Antônio da Patrulha, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, were nearly destroyed. Together, these schools serve approximately 530 children and students, half of whom attend full-day classes. These schools provide educational and learning opportunities and ensure the food security and well-being of their students by offering meals throughout the day. However, this catastrophe left them in a vulnerable state.
Through this project and the generosity of those who helped us, these schools were able to recover and resume their activities quickly. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to each one of you for your support. Your significant assistance played a vital role in making this project a success. Additionally, we were able to help other schools that also suffered from nature's actions.
To celebrate this important occasion, we are pleased to share some photos showing what the schools received through the donations of all those who were touched by the project.
Gratitude,
Greetings APUSA
