In March 2025, a powerful storm caused severe flooding in Bahía Blanca, Argentina, destroying dozens of school libraries and leaving hundreds of children without access to books or safe reading spaces.
Thanks to your generous support, we’ve taken significant steps to bring stories, learning, and hope back to these schools.
Key Achievements
2 schools received new children's literature books to help rebuild their libraries.
75 new children’s books purchased and delivered.
Over 520 children regained access to books and reading corners.
24 teachers supported with resources to restart literacy programs.
Community-driven rebuilding: parents, teachers, and volunteers came together to recover what was lost.
Why It Matters
Reading opens doors: Children now have access to stories, knowledge, and opportunities to learn.
Spaces of hope: Rebuilt libraries provide safety, inspiration, and a sense of normalcy after the disaster.
Stronger communities: Together, we’ve helped families, teachers, and children heal and rebuild.
How Your Donations Were Used
Use of Funds Amount (USD) 500.00
