For many years Buffalo, NY has been facing some major challenges. These challenges include the following: 1. According to the most recent census Buffalo is the 3rd poorest city in the Unites States 2. Buffalo has one of the largest housing vacancy rates in the country 3. Western New York is divided into countless municipalities, creating barriers between the city and suburbs 4. There is a huge disconnect between government and citizens

Solution

ReBuffalo will bring people and ideas together in a forum that will facilitate new alliances and projects. This meeting place for ideas and individuals will provide the critical mass needed to tackle longstanding urban problems.

Long-Term Impact

ReBuffalo will facilitate the creation of new ideas, partnerships, and projects. The inevitable long term effects of this will be a stronger and more prosperous community.
