Story / Update

Eid-ul-Adha is a time of compassion, generosity, and sharing with those in need. However, many low-income families are unable to afford nutritious food or participate fully in the celebrations due to financial hardship.

To support these vulnerable households, Alkhidmat Khawateen Trust Faisalabad distributed fresh Qurbani meat to 100 deserving and underprivileged families. The initiative aimed to ensure that widows, orphans, daily wage earners, and economically disadvantaged families could celebrate Eid with dignity and enjoy nutritious meals.

Dedicated volunteers carried out the distribution in an organized and respectful manner, reaching those most in need. The initiative not only provided essential food assistance but also strengthened the spirit of compassion and community solidarity during the blessed days of Eid.

Project Update

Alhamdulillah! With the generous support of our GlobalGiving donors, Al-Khidmat Foundation successfully distributed Ramadan Ration Packages to 140 deserving families in Okara, enabling them to observe Sehri and Iftar with dignity during the holy month of Ramadan.

What We Did

Each Ramadan Ration Package was carefully assembled to meet the essential food needs of a family throughout the month. Every package included:

Flour (Atta)
Rice
Lentils (Daal)
Cooking Oil / Ghee
Sugar
Dates (Khajoor)
Sherbet (Juice Drink)
Other essential food items

These packages ensured that 140 vulnerable families could break their fast and have a wholesome Sehri meal every day throughout Ramadan.

In Vehari, 150 deserving families received Ramadan ration packs to support their Sehri and Iftar meals. The distribution was organized through the joint collaboration of Alkhidmat Foundation and GlobalGiving, ensuring vulnerable households could observe Ramadan with dignity and food security.

Ramadan is a month of blessings, reflection, and generosity. However, for many underprivileged families, arranging adequate food for Sehri and Iftar becomes a serious challenge due to financial hardship.

To ease this burden, Alkhidmat Foundation, in partnership with GlobalGiving, organized a Ramadan ration distribution program in Vehari. A total of 150 deserving families were provided with comprehensive food packages containing essential items required for daily meals throughout the holy month.
