Our project to revive the City Park in Hrazdan is continuing. Before all is covered in snow, a local school of 30+ students came to cleanup and show themselves as an example to their community. They will continue such demonstrations in the future!
Meet Ani, she is in 8th grade and volunteered to be part of the cleanup crew. She often comes to the park and is disappointed with of the growing trash around her, but she is determined not to give up on her community. Here is what Ani has to says about the matter:
"We all desire to come to this park to rest and spend time. But it is not pleasant to come and sit and walk among trash, it is not a pleasure for anyone. That is why if we do not clean, no one will come clean for us."
Once the winter season will pass, local schools will prepare to hold a festival in the park, in order to spread awareness further in their community. They will prepare upcycled objects from waste to showcase a new value in waste.
Please continue to support us by spreading the word and making a contribution. With your support we can begin a cleanup project in a different region of Armenia.
