Thank you for your wonderful donation to help us complete our four new classrooms at the Brightlingsea Academy.
The funds raised through GlobalGiving allowed us to move quickly to purchase all the materials needed to pour a permanent concrete roof on the classrooms which were desperately needed at the rural school in Ghana. The roof has been completed and the plastering has been started. Here are some photos of the work stages.
The next stage is rendering the outside of the classrooms and plastering inside before painting.
120 children will be able to safely use the classrooms very soon. This has only been made possible because of your amazing donations to the Raise the Roof project.
These classrooms will benefit hundreds of children in years to come. Thank you for your continued support of Porridge and Pens.
