Rainwater Harvest Update.

By AUGUSTUS.KAGYENE | SCHOOL DIRECTOR/Project Leader.

Our school has been grappling with shortages for ages just like other community members since we live in a semi desert place.

Though, with good friends and/or supporters who believe in our efforts as a school have come online and offline to  champion our cause of safe water access for our school Children,

Before we got tanks we used to share water from the dam with domestic animals, children will fall sick with cough & flue, skip classes to fetch for school use, delay or fail to take meals on time due distance involved from school premises to the dam!

We currently secured three water tanks much as we need more funds to construct a bole and add more tanks. We are working  hard to ensure scarcity of water is history at school n eradicate water borne diseases among school children.

With our water tanks now, we have achieved the following

-Timely prepartion of meals and/or breakfast for school children.

-985 Daily attendence by school  pupils.

-80% reduction of flue/cough since we have drinking boiled water 24/7

-Over 75% improvement in  sanitation & hygine amongst pupils .

To our dear supporters and/donors , Our school community and I cant thank your enough nor can we take your financial support for granted.

Thanks a bunch for believing our vision at our School.
