IntroductionThe supply of clean water in Juba is uncertain, dirty, and a huge health risk. This vital life-giving resource in supplied by commercial water truck tanks. As such Juba's 1 million residents lack clean water, facing constant health risks. Cholera is a yearly menace. By installing rainwater harvesting systems in homes and public buildings, SSGID had planned to capture the precious water Juba receives for 4 months a year from rain. Given the collapse of the South Sudan economy SSGID resolve to provide clean water to the Juba City poor is stronger than three-months ago. We appeal for this project's support for these obvious reasons. This project provides safe, clean drinking water, reducing waterborne diseases like cholera and improving lives for the community. What has SSGID done in the last three months towards realizing this project?
