In a world full of incredibly worthy causes, I understand how difficult it can be to choose where to make a difference. Yet for the Maasai schoolgirls we serve, your support can truly change everything.
Earlier this year, devastating floods robbed many families of their livestock and livelihoods, plunging them deeper into poverty. For some, this has meant pulling their daughters out of school because they can no longer afford the fees. But education doesn’t have to stop there.
Our solar and wind-up Fenix radio-lights are lifelines. This has been substantiated time and again by those who have received them. These robust devices broadcast school lessons, helping girls stay up to date with their lessons even when they can’t attend school. They also provide access to vital information like weather reports, news, and community programs - critical resources for rural families facing daily challenges.
For only $25, you can provide a schoolgirl and her family with 24/7 access to education and information, as well as a bright LED light for their home. This isn’t just a donation. I’s an opportunity to empower a girl to continue to learn and to shape her future despite the obstacles.
Will you join us in making a lasting difference? Together, we can ensure that these Maasai girls are not left behind.
