After 15 years of hardship, many families can no longer afford essential nutrition, especially meat. After 15 years of crisis, over 16 million people in Syria require humanitarian assistance, with millions facing food insecurity. Displaced families, orphans, widows, and the elderly struggle to access basic nutrition. Meat has become unaffordable, and many go months without it. During Eid al-Adha, thousands of families are unable to enjoy even a single meal, missing both essential nutrition and the joy of Eid.
This project will provide fresh, halal Qurbani meat to vulnerable families in Syria during Eid al-Adha. Animals will be sourced locally, prepared, and distributed in organized portions to displaced families, orphans, widows, and the elderly. This ensures access to essential nutrition, while restoring dignity and bringing joy to families in need during Eid.
This project contributes to improved nutrition and well-being among vulnerable families, especially children. By supporting local livestock markets, it also helps strengthen local economies. Beyond immediate relief, it fosters a culture of giving, dignity, and community support, creating a lasting positive impact on families facing long-term hardship.
