Project Overview
Every child deserves a safe, inspiring place to learn. At St. Michael’s Primary School in Ogunpa, Abeokuta-Nigeria, we are turning that vision into reality. With your support, we are constructing a new school building that will transform the learning experience for hundreds of children in this underserved community.
The new facility will include:
Progress So Far
Thanks to the generosity of donors like you, we have made remarkable strides:
Meet Abiola
Abiola, a bright 12-year-old student at St. Michael’s, dreams of becoming a teacher one day. But for now, she sits in a crowded classroom with leaking roofs and cracked walls because it's the rainy season in Nigeria till late October. “When it rains, our books get wet, and sometimes we cannot hear the teacher,” she says quietly. “I wish we had a new classroom where we can read and not be afraid.”
Abiola’s wish is at the heart of this project. This new school building will give her and her classmates the safe, encouraging space they need to learn, dream, and thrive.
Where We Are Now
We are at the critical stage of roof beam installation—the step that will allow us to secure the roofing structure. Once the roof is on, the building will rapidly take shape into a true center of learning.
What’s Next
With continued support, we aim to:
Why This Matters
For too long, children in Ogunpa have struggled to learn in overcrowded and poorly maintained spaces. This project is more than just bricks and mortar—it is an investment in their future. A safe and well-equipped school means:
Our Progress Together
So far, we have raised $40,348 toward the total project budget, an incredible milestone that brings us closer to unlocking a brighter future for these children.
With your help, we can finish this building and open the doors to opportunity for generations to come.
Thank you for believing in the power of education and for standing with us on this journey.
