Pyaar Paani Project for Skardu 

With the generous support of donors through GlobalGiving, Dawood Global Foundation continues to bring clean and safe drinking water to remote communities in Skardu under the Pyaar Paani Project. In areas where families once struggled with severe water shortages, deep solar-powered water wells, approximately 130–160 feet deep, have now been successfully installed. Each well is providing reliable access to clean drinking water for nearly 200 families, greatly improving daily life, particularly for women and children who previously had to walk long distances to fetch water. All wells are solar-powered, carefully water-tested, and supported by trained local teams to ensure sustainable operation.

Thanks to the compassion and generosity of our donors, the project has already reached more than 2,200 families, bringing lasting relief and dignity to these communities. Each well proudly carries a plaque recognizing the donor who made it possible, and every inauguration stands as a celebration of kindness and hope. Dawood Global Foundation remains deeply grateful for this continued support, which is helping transform lives in Skardu, one well, one family, and one community at a time.
