PUT UP HEALTH FACILITY IN ZAMBULKURA FOR 10,000 PEOPLE (54492)
Report of activities on Project 54492 ‘Put up a Health Facility in Zambulkura for 10,000 people’ by Rescue and Restore Hope Zambulkura Ghana (RRHZ). There has not been much activities in terms of constructing the health facility we started since 2020 due to lack of funding. Though the problems of lack of access to health care facility and quality service delivery to the people of Zambulkura and the surrounding communities still exist in the Sakogu subdistrict in the East Mamprusi District of the North East Region of Ghana, our effort to raise sufficient funds to enable us construct the health facility and provide quality health care services has been slow and not yielded the much needed results as fast as we would have like . The land provided to construct the 40-bed capacity health facility in Zambulkura and health workers accommodation is still available, and our NGO believe raising funds for the construction of the facility is still relevant, as it will help to build a delivery and maternity wards, children ward, consulting room, pharmacy, Laboratory, storeroom, and the health workers accommodation. It is anticipated that after completion of the construction and starting to operate 24 hours it will serve as immunization center, health education, provide antenatal services, deliveries, and handle injuries and emergency cases. RRHZ appreciates our donors and the ever-supportive GlobalGiving team for the support. We believe the over 10,000 people in these deprived communities in the Sakogu subdistrict will stand to benefit if this facility is finally constructed and start operating. As an NGO seeking to help address the health menace and needs of the communities, we are seeking partnerships with Organizations, Philanthropies, and individuals interested in supporting deprived rural communities so that together we shall make positive impact to the lives of these deprived rural people.
Thank you, we owe our donors and GG Team so much gratitude.
