This project aims to set up a women's sewing workshop, not only for the manufacture and marketing of various items, but also to train 1,000 women who are victims of sexual violence, as well as disabled, abandoned, abused, and disadvantaged girls, in sewing and embroidery techniques. In addition, this project plans to create a microcredit program to give 3,000 women affected by sexual violence the opportunity to access credit and savings, which will support their entrepreneurship.
Women and girls are particularly affected by the crisis in eastern DRC. The resurgence of armed factions such as the M23 has displaced millions of people, exacerbating an already fragile humanitarian situation. With more than half the population living in crisis conditions, basic needs remain out of reach for many Congolese. As violence spreads, the country's social fabric continues to unravel, leaving generations vulnerable to the horrors of conflict and poverty.

In addition to being reintegrated into society, women and girls become financially independent and can access health services, provide for themselves, and ultimately break the cycle of poverty. They can also rebuild their lives, regain their self-confidence, and find stability in their daily lives, allowing them to look forward to a hopeful future in a region severely affected and scarred by war.
