Summary

GoGlobal will support 1,000 children in frontline and border communities of Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Kharkiv oblasts. We combine psychological support, learning recovery, and access to quality education. Children will receive psychosocial support, tutoring, learning materials, mentoring, and individual psychological assistance. We also help children reconnect with peers and communities and build the stability and confidence they need to learn and plan for the future.

Challenge

Children in Ukraine's frontline, border and host communities face interrupted schooling, displacement, anxiety and prolonged stress. IDP children may also lose peer connections and a sense of belonging. GoGlobal has practical experience in catch-up education, addressing learning losses and providing psychosocial support to children affected by war. Our experience shows that educational recovery must go hand in hand with emotional wellbeing and community integration.

Solution

GoGlobal will support 1,000 children through an integrated approach combining psychosocial support, catch-up learning and community integration. Children will receive group support from trained psychologists, individual assistance when needed, tutoring in key subjects, mentoring and learning materials. Working with schools and community partners, GoGlobal will help children recover learning, rebuild wellbeing and confidence, reconnect with peers and become active members of their communities.

Long-Term Impact

The project will help 1,000 children recover learning, strengthen psychological resilience and rebuild connections with peers and communities. Teachers, mentors and local partners will gain practical skills to support children affected by war and displacement. In the long term, we aim to ensure that every child can learn, recover, belong and participate in community life, regardless of whether they live in a frontline area or were displaced by war.
