Everything has gotten progressively tough during the time of Covid-19 and economic instability in Lebanon. Intisar Foundation, on the other hand, shifted to new innovative ways and launched a new economic empowerment program to support women in business.
Intisar Foundation was able support 15 women entrepreneurs through the implementation of a psychological support program through the use of Drama Therapy. The program was held at Beit el Laffe Beirut, Lebanon, thanks to your generous donations in these difficult times.
These included giving all the ladies masks and hand sanitizers, avoiding activities that required physical contact, and adhering to social distance guidelines. These improvements allowed Intisar Foundation to continue its work without jeopardizing the program's integrity or influence on self-empowerment and healing.
Intisar Foundation's Drama Therapy program aids in the relief of depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder symptoms while also enhancing self-esteem and life satisfaction. The mental health of these women was already deteriorating, but with the economic and health crisis in Lebanon, as well as the resulting instability, their mental health has deteriorated even more.
It is now more crucial than ever to address the mental health concerns that these women face, not only to assist them in overcoming their difficulties, but also to assist them in influencing future generations in their quest for peace.
