Dear Friends,
Several months ago you contributed to our campaign on Global Giving to enhance family literacy programming. Since that time, we have seen the program's impact: The class has maintained a steady level of participation AND has gained the participation of a woman who for many years avoided ESL class because she had several small children at home. This woman is now a regular participant, and her children are being enrolled in HeadStart.
Our current campaign on Global Giving focuses on a range of Capacity Building programs (which includes family literacy). Unfortunately, this campaign has not gained much momentum, and we have only two days left to raise funds. Will you consider making another donation to the Coalition for Refugee Resettlement / Pilot Street Project? Your gift helps us to reach our fundraising goals. But, even more so, your gift directly impacts programs that help newcomers to learn English, acquire new skills, find jobs, and earn their citizenship.
Thanks for considering this request
Michele
