Wroclaw Hospice Foundation is the only one in Lower Silesia which allows to provide care at HOME, since family itself is the best place for the sick child. In order to carry out our mission, we have decided to set up first specialist clinic in Lower Silesian for children having life limiting conditions. In this specialist clinic children under our care will have a chance to visit doctors of different specialities and benefit from rehabilitation. All services provided will be free of charge.
Specialist clinic for children can't operate without professionals (doctors, nurses and physiotherapists) or without specialist equipment. For renovation and adaptation of the vacant premise we have raised some funds, but they are not enough. We need money for equipment of rehabilitation rooms, waiting room and medical offices. We would also like to make the main entrance to the clinic more attractive, so the children will feel pleasantly. Now it's only a shabby tenement house with grim walls.
Thanks to opening of the specialist clinic children required help will be able to get assistance from medical specialists such as: orthopedic surgeon, neurologist and pediatrician. Aid will be provided in one place, which will save time and prevent children from exhausting transportation from one hospital to another. Children will have possibility to benefit from free rehabilitation and devoted care of family volunteer.
Specialist clinic for children having life limiting conditions is the first specialist clinic of that kind in Lower Silesian, Poland. In this clinic children under our care will have a chance to visit doctors of different specialities and will benefit from rehabilitation. All services provided will be at one place and free of charge. After renovation, adaptation, supplied with rehabilitation equipment, the facility will be fulfilling its purpose for many years and will serve those who need help
