Dear Supporters,
We are grateful to share an early update on our ongoing project to provide solar-powered water supply to over 4,000 people in Awala Village, Nigeria.
Thanks to your generous contributions, we have raised $15 so far on GlobalGiving. While this is a small start, it reflects the first step toward bringing clean, reliable, and sustainable water access to a community that currently depends on unsafe sources and travels long distances to fetch water.
Awala Village is a remote settlement where water scarcity severely affects daily life — from drinking and cooking to farming and hygiene. Through this project, we aim to install a solar-powered borehole and establish a community-managed water point, improving health outcomes, reducing waterborne diseases, and saving time for women and children.
We are actively seeking additional support and partnerships to meet our funding goal and begin implementation. Every dollar counts, and your continued support brings us closer to delivering safe water and dignity to the people of Awala.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
