The solar water supply system is designed to be sustainable and to provide the people of Awala Village with access to clean and potable water for many years to come. The system will be operated and maintained by a local community-based organization.
The solar water supply system will have a significant impact on the lives of the people of Awala Village. The system will improve their health, livelihoods, and quality of life.
The proposed solar water supply system will consist of three main components:
A solar-powered borehole pump will be installed to extract water from the ground.
A water tank will be installed to store the pumped water.
A distribution network will be installed to deliver the water to the homes and businesses in the village.
