YOU CAN BE A HOPE FOR WIDOWS AND ORPHANED CHILDREN IN BURUNDI

Building a shelter for widow  family, orphans and needy families in Burundi, helps reduce the expansion of AIDS and the mortality, occasioned by the present conditions of living of thousands of widows and needy families in Burundi.

During this coming summer season, you can be a hope for widows and orphaned children in Burundi by making a donation to help build a house. Your help would enable JRMD provide shelters to 100 widow families and orphans=ed children in Burundi.

So far, we have built 7 houses for 7 widow families of the 100 homes we plan to build in Buganda.  93  widow and orphaned children families, still need shelters, where they can live in security and peacefully.  Helping a widow family to improve the condition of living by providing an affordable home, which costs $998; a home that accommodates a family of 7 to 10 people is unforgettable gift that you can give to a widow family in Burundi during this coming summer season. Providing a home to a widow and needy family will help reduce the expansion of AIDS and the mortality of unprivileged children occasioned by the present conditions of their living.

A home is one of the most important things that contribute to a good living of a human being. Until our project is fully funded, we will be sending you regular reports about our work. You'll know what your donation has helped fund, what accomplishments we have achieved and what our current needs are. Donation can be made through the following link: http://www.globalgiving.org/projects/providing-shelters-to-100-widows-in-buganda/

Thank you so much for teaming with us in this project.

PROVIDING AFFORDABLE HOME TO A WIDOWED FAMILY

Building a shelter for a widowed  family, orphans and needy families in Burundi, helps reduce the expansion of HIV and the mortality, occasioned by the present conditions of widows and needy families in Burundi due to the lack of shelter.  From these pictures,  you can see how is the condition of living of those widows and orphans that JRMD is serving in the area. Your help would enable JRMD provide shelters to 100 widow families and orphans. So far, we have built 7 houses for 7 widowed families of the 100 homes we plan to build in Buganda.  93  widowed families and orphans, still need shelter, where they can live in security and peacefully.

Helping a widowed family to improve the condition of living by providing an affordable home, which costs $998; a home that accommodates a family of 7 to 10 people is unforgettable gift that you can give to a widowed family in Burundi within the year 2018. Your donation will help provide a home to a widowed and needy family, reduce the expansion of HIV and the mortality of unprivileged children occasioned by present conditions of their living. A home is one of the most important things that contribute to a good living of a human being.

As you know, peace is not possible for people who do not have where to live. There is NO way to promote peace, reconciliation, education, technology, development, safety, health in and among the families who do not have shelter.

Until our project is fully funded, we will be sending you regular reports about our work. You'll know what your donation has helped fund, what accomplishments we have achieved and what our current needs are. A GREAT JOY AND HONOR OF SERVING AND HELPING!!!

In helping and serving people, mostly those in great need, orphans, widows, etc …, I have discovered and continue to experience great joy and honor in serving those who need help and assistance.

Serving and Helping is an opportunity and privilege. It is a Win-Win Action. The outcome of serving and helping is Greater!! We gain back joy, blessings and honor. You feel Good because you are helping those in need to find a solution to their problems and those who are being helped feel good because they are getting help and solution to their problems.

Providing a home to a widow and needy family will help reduce the expansion of AIDS and the mortality of unprivileged children occasioned by the present conditions of their living. A home is one of the most important things that contribute to a good living of a human being. Until our project is fully funded, we will be sending you regular reports about our work.

A donation of $998 will build a house for a widow and needy family and make them smile again!!

The house that we build for a family, has 45 square meters (485 square feet). This house does accommodate a family of 7 to 10 people. It has 2 doors, 4 windows, a sitting room and 2 bedrooms. We stucco/plaster the house with cement, to protect the house from rainwater. Stucco is done on the external walls of the house. They cook outside of the house in a small kitchen that they build themselves. We also help the beneficiary of the house build a toilet, outside of the house. The children sleep together in one bedroom and sitting room and then the parents sleep in another bedroom. Most of the people we help build homes, they sleep on mats on which they sit on during a day time. When we are able, we do provide simple mattresses, blankets and sheets to the families that we help build homes. One simple mattress does cost between $35 and a pair of sheets and blankets costs $25.

Your donation will make a huge difference in the lives of those in great need. They will know that there are people who care for them.

DESCRIPTION OF A HOME WE BUILD FOR A WIDOW AND NEEDY FAMILY

A donation of $998 will build a house for a widow and needy family and make them smile again!!

The house that we build for a family, has 45 square meters (485 square feet). This house does accommodate a family of 7 to 10 people. It has 2 doors, 4 windows, a sitting room and 2 bedrooms. We stucco/plaster the house with cement, to protect the house from rainwater. Stucco is done on the external walls of the house. After we have helped a family build a home, the family who is the beneficiary of the house, is responsible to smooth /plaster the walls inside of the house with mud or cement; but for those who are not able to smooth or plaster the walls inside of their houses, our volunteers do provide assistance to a such families.

One simple mattress does cost between 25 and $30 and a pair of sheets and blankets costs $15.
