PROVIDING AN AFFORDABLE HOME  TO A WIDOWED FAMILY

Helping a widowed family and orphaned children  to improve the condition of their living by providing an affordable home, it costs $998. Your donation will help provide a home to a widowed family  and orphaned  children; it will help reduce the expansion of HIV  and COVID-19, it will help reduce the mortality of unprivileged children occasioned by present conditions of their living. A home is one of the most important things that contribute to a good living of a human being.

Helping to build  a shelter for a widowed  family, orphaned children and needy families in Burundi, helps reduce the expansion of HIV, COVID-19 and the mortality occasioned by the present living conditions of widows and  orphaned children in Burundi due to the lack of shelter.  From these pictures,  you can see how is the condition of living of those widows and orphans that JRMD is serving in the area. Your help would enable JRMD provide shelters to 100 widow families and orphans. So far, we have built 9 houses for 9 widowed families of the 100 homes we plan to build in Buganda.  91  widowed families and orphans, still need shelter where they can live in security and peacefully.

As you know, peace is not possible for people who do not have where to live. There is NO way to promote peace, reconciliation, education, technology, development, safety, health in and among the families who do not have shelter.

Until our project is fully funded, we will be sending you regular reports about our work. You'll know what your donation has helped fund, what accomplishments we have achieved and what our current needs are. Donation can be made through the following link: http://www.globalgiving.org/projects/providing-shelters-to-100-widows-in-buganda/

Thank you so much for showing your solidarity with those in need.

OUR HOPE MAKES US REMAIN COURAGEOUS AND PATIENT!!

“Be the kind of person who dares to face life’s challenges and overcome them rather than dodging them". - Roy T. Bennett-

The terrifying times in which we live, times that the entire humanity is suffering today due to COVID -19. We are all facing difficult times; the Coronavirus-19 pandemic is a tremendous challenge for the entire World, for all people worldwide, and for our common home. Yet this crisis may be an opportunity to start anew. It requires new solutions: “new ways of living; new ways of working and handling things; new ways of behaving; new ways of dealing with whatever situation in which we may be. NEW WAYS and NEW WAYS AGAIN and AGAIN, because in whatever situation that we may be, LIFE continues.

Today our relatives and very close friends and people around are ill due to this Coronavirus-19 pandemic. To deal with a such situation requires courageous and patient people. During this time I am writing this message, some of our donors have Coronavirus, have lost their works, businesses, freedom to move from one place to another one and live in isolation situation! We are facing difficult moments and times. The COVID-19 health and humanitarian crisis is a very serious global concern.

Do not be discouraged when things do not go as you had planned, because what is not possible today, will be possible tomorrow; knowing that there is wonderful joy ahead. Remember, we only need courage and patience when things do not go well; when we face life challenges. Because of HOPE in us to overcome them we remain courageous and Patient!!

Despite this terrifying situation in which we live today, there is a hope:

  • In God’s protection
  • We are aware of the COVID-19 and know how dangerous it is for a human being “ In Kirundi we say that “ an appeared/seen stone while digging can not destroy a hoe”.
  • By following and obeying the instructions and advice given by medical personnel and those who have a good knowledge in this
  • By Accepting to lose your freedom and maintaining your self control for your good and the community around you and beyond
  • By Caring for your self and others as well, but sometimes this requires to risk your life in order to save the lives of others.

If you have been supporting an orphaned and underprivileged child, providing education, hungry people, providing medical care of those in need, please continue according to the best of your abilities, even though this seems difficult, even impossible to make it   during a such situation!! I am very thankful to our donors and friends, and friends of friends who continue to support our ministry/work during this uncertain times.

To donate now, please click on the following link:

This is the time to show our solidarity with one another according to the best of our abilities during this terrifying times in which we are today.

Yes, there is a hope to continue to live despite COVID-19. COVID-19. It will finish! It will end!!

GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY  WITHIN AND BEYOND

As Successful and fortunate people, we can give our time, techniques, talents, education, we can share with our community whatever could benefit them, from whatever God entrusted us.  We can help our community to improve their condition of living, supply water, build homes, schools, health centers, micro-lending and farming projects, etc :

For my last 25 years of experience in serving the community and my nation, I have discovered how  much joy and  honor we gain in serving and giving back to the community. Giving back to  a within and beyond community gives us a pleasant feeling of connectedness and the satisfaction of at least trying to make our community  and the community beyond  a better place. This is about Compassion in Action toward our community and people.

Building a shelter for widow  family, orphans and needy families in Burundi, helps reduce the expansion of AIDS and the mortality, occasioned by the present conditions of living of thousands of widows and needy families in Burundi. Your help would enable JRMD provide shelters to 100 widow families and orphansed children in Burundi. So far, we have built 7 houses for 7 widow families of the 100 homes we plan to build in Buganda.  93  widow and orphaned children families, still need shelters, where they can live in security and peacefully.
