Summary

The School will provide education to 450 youths - Finish the construction of the Orphanage that will accommodate 160 orphans. Currently, the School is providing education to 452 students. This Project will reduce the number of suffering children in the street and reintegrate them in a New Life, New family, New Society and give them the right and access to the shelter and education.

Challenge

Over 10,000 people of Ruhagarika village is facing: poverty, lack of education and medication facilities. Many children in Ruhagarika community do not have access to education. The orphans living in Ruhagarika and surrounding areas are more than 400 orphans and the number continues to increase. Clearly and totally, the most affected are children. This project will provide education to them and shelter the orphans.

Solution

The orphanage will care for 160 orphans and the school will provide education to 450 children/year, from the community and surrounding areas. Imuhira Iwacu Village will be a meeting place for 21,000/year of children, young people, women and men for their education, conferences, workshop, training, weddings and funs. It will reduce the number of suffering children and reintegrate them in a new life and new society.

Long-Term Impact

450 children of Ruhagarika Community and surrounding areas will have access to education each/year and 160 orphaned children will have access to shelter, education and life skills. 21,000 people will benefit from this project/year . It will reduce the number of suffering children in the street and reintegrate them in a New Life, New Family, New Society and give them an opportunity to have right to the shelter and education. Over 35 job opportunities will be created.
