Provide Rehabilitative Care in northern Haiti

Dear STAND Family, 

     Over the past ten years, STAND has worked diligently to serve the people of Port-de-Paix, providing top notch physical rehabilitation services. We want to thank each and every one of you who has joined us on a trip or donated to our cause. Without you all, the work we've accomplished would not have been possible. It is with a heavy heart that we must inform you that the STAND Clinic in Port-de-Paix Haiti will be closing in October. While our clinicians and staff in Haiti are hard at work, providing both physical therapy and community education, it has become impossible to find adequate funding to keep our doors open. 

     At this time, our clinicians are working to transfer some of STAND's most severely involved cases to 5 Star Global Ministry, who will be beginning an adult therapy program. While they will not be able to see all of STAND's patients, we are thankful that some will continue to have therapy available. We hope that in the future, the safety of Haiti will improve and we will be able to return again. Thank you again, it has meant a lot to us.
