Hi, Thank you so much for your financial support for this vital Kimbilio Project which provides life-changing education to children in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The Kimbilio School has been open for several years and serves former street children living in the Kimbilio homes plus children from families in the area who cannot afford the fees for State schools.
There are currently 45 children in the Nursery Department, 336 children in the Primary Department and 171 children in the Secondary department. A total of 552 children being educated. The school is, as you can see, very popular! Education is life-changing in the DRC. It is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty.
Your donations pay for the salaries of the teaching and support staff, the purchase of school books and stationery and the maintenance of the school buildings and grounds. Thank you again.
