Continuing technical assistance

Gift of farming inputs
Dear Friend,
Thank you very much for your support to our project providing farming inputs to poor farmers. Farming inputs comprise seeds, seedlings, organic fertilizer, small equipment among others. This reporting period we are able to assist 50 farmers with seeds, fertilizer and small farming tools so that they are able to increase their farming production. The good thing with our approach is that we calibrate our giving to the specific needs of an individual farmer and not blanket assistance which sometimes is not effective. Hoping for your continuing help and support as we seek to expand this project. Thank you very much.
Very sincerely yours,

Providing basic farm supplies

Providing essential inputs
Dear Friend,
Thank you very much for your donation to our project providing gifts of farming inputs to poor farmers. We are happy to inform you that for this reporting period we are able to assist 120 farmers with basic farming inputs such as tools, organic fertilizer and seeds. Seeds are very important because they are difficult to procure and much needed by farmers. We prefer indigenous seeds compared to hybrid varieties because indigenous seeds can be used over and over again by letting some of the fruits to mature and then use the seeds for the next planting season. We also train farmers to make their own organic fertilizer from the compost and this is one of the best strategy we have in our arsenal. Hoping for your continuing support to our initiative. Thank you very much.
Very sincerely yours,

Building knowledge-base of farmers

Building capacity
Dear Friend,
Thank you very much for your donation to our project providing gifts of farming inputs to poor farmers. Many people are asking why we provide gifts instead of letting farmers pay for the farm inputs. Our response to this is that we are focusing the giving of gifts to very poor farmers who cannot access farming inputs. Without much-needed farming inputs like seeds and fertilizer, farming will be a losing enteprise and the poor farmer will remain dirt-poor. The gift of farming inputs is hoped to jump-start his business and provide sustainability. We were able to provide 30 farmers with gifts of seeds, seedlings and fertilizer during this season and we hope to increase our farm input support to an additional of at least 10 farmers per month. We need your support and partnership so that we can realize this. We are also providing technical support to our recipients in order to ensure success in their enterprise.
Very sincerely yours,
Cesario Sayre
