Dear Donors,
We sincerely thank you for your support toward the Provide Free Ultrasound for Rural Pregnant Mothers project. Your contribution shows concern for mothers and newborns in underserved communities. However, the donations received so far are still not enough to begin the planned outreach.
In many rural areas, pregnant women continue to face serious challenges in accessing ultrasound services. The cost of scans, long travel distances, and limited health facilities make it difficult for many women to receive proper monitoring during pregnancy.
Without access to ultrasound, complications such as ectopic pregnancy, fetal distress, and multiple births may go unnoticed. This increases the risk of poor outcomes for both mothers and their babies.
This project is designed to deploy mobile ultrasound services to rural communities, allowing women to receive scans at no cost. Trained health workers will carry out checks during antenatal visits and refer high-risk cases for further care when needed.
With the right support, more women can receive early diagnosis, safer pregnancy monitoring, and timely medical attention.
We are grateful for the support already received and remain hopeful that additional contributions will make it possible to begin this program and reach mothers who need it most.
Thank you for your kindness and continued support.
Sincerely,
Joy Ojochogwu Etubi
