Dear donor

Good morning and lots of Namaste to you all.

Today again we are very much pleased to share  a new report about Manakamana elderly people's home Khandbari among you all. We also hope this report wild find you all happy and healthy.

Almost the elderly people living at the home are fine till now. They are happy and healthy and have ben spending their days happily.

Since they have been getting food materials like rice, pulse, cooking oil, salt, beans, sugar tea dusts, from our organization from time to time they cook whatever and however they like and eat their full and pray to God for our peace prosperity and long life in the morning and in the evening.

It is summer here in Nepal. Since the home is situated on the low level on the side of the Arun river, it is very hot during the day but cool breeze blows after 12 at night and they feel refreshed. It also rains from time to time. So the weather is tolerable for them.

One of the elderly women   named Sita said, ” Sometime it is very difficult to bear heat around the home but morning is cool and pleasant for us.”

Once again we would like to request you to share our fund raising program among your network, family and friends and support us to achieve our us fund raising  goal for the people.

Wishing you all the best.
Warm regards
Tejanath Pokharel

Dear donors

Good morning and lots of Namaste!

Today again  I am very much excited to share a  new report about Manakamana elderly people's home Khandbari among you all. I would like to inform you that all the elderly people living at the  home are fine till now. They are happy to get food materials as well as other materials of daily use from us from time to time.

However, almost the people living there are getting older and older day by day. However, they have their own timetable to follow. They sit for prayer at 7 am and pray to God for   peace, happiness and long life to all the donors'   well-wishers. The praying activity remains for about one hour.

They are cooperative to one another. When  one   of  the  members in the home gets  sick and is unable to do anything the other members  help him or  her  by fetching water from the  tap cocking feeding and  cleaning etc.

Moreover, we need your continuous support to achieve our fund raising goal to support the elderly people. Once again we would like to request you to share our fund raising program among your network, family and friends and help us in our fund raising program for people.

Dear friends

Good morning and lots of Namaste!

Today again I am very much pleased to share a new report among you all.

All the elderly people living  there are fine till now.  They are happy and healthy.  During the last there months Dashani and Deepawali, the two biggest   national festivals were celebrated throughout  Nepal. During   Dashain festival some of the elderly people's relatives  came  to take Tika and Jamara  and  blessing  from them those elderly people.  The people  celebrated the festival having  delicious and dishes and meeting their relatives and friends.

During  Deepali festival   the people  spent   their time   praying to  God and  worshipping   Laxmi, the  goddess of  wealth.

On  Last October 30,  a big fare  took place   around   Manakamana premises. It was a  big  cultural festival organized  by a Makalu Literature society Sankhuwasabha.  About 20000 people had gathers to observe the festival.   Cultural dances of different ethnic groups like Rain Gurung  Taman  etc were performed there.    During the night a big fare took place. The next morning the people had bath in the nearby river and  worshipped at    Manakamana temple. The elderly   people observed the cultural programs with great interest.

Through this report we would like to extend our heartiest thanks and gratitude to you all for your valuable contribution till now  We also hope you will continue supporting us   to achieve our fund raising    goal in the coming days.

Dear friends,

Good  morning and lots of Namaste

Today again I am very much pleased to present  a new report  of the  Manakamana elderly people Khandbari  home among you all.

Last August 10 we again distributed food materials like rice, pulse, cooking oil, salt, spices, sugar as well as some materials of daily use.    Although there are 30 elderly people living there we met  altogether 26 old age people. There were 7 male and 19 female. Four of them had gone away to see their relatives in the village.

Till today   although they are getting older and older day by day, they are happy and  fine and having a good time there. Since SESF launched its food distribution program to them they have enough food to eat. Almost all of they had their own kitchen and cooked themselves and eat.  They  are helpful to one another. If anyone cannot fetch water from the tap  others are ready to help him or her.

Krishn a 81 year old woman prayed to God for our happiness and long life.  Another 80 year old male also expressed his happiness and blessed us.

One again I would like to extend our sincere thanks gratitude to you all for your great support to our organization program till now.

We also hope you  will continue supporting us to achieve our find raising goal in the coming days.

We wish you all the best

Tejanath Pokharel
