This project will provide daily nutritious meals for street children in Ghana who lack consistent access to food. Many children living on the streets struggle with hunger and poor nutrition, which affects their health, growth, and overall wellbeing. This project will help reduce hunger by ensuring that vulnerable street children receive at least one reliable meal each day.
Street children in Ghana often face extreme food insecurity. Without stable homes or caregivers, many go days without proper meals. This leads to malnutrition, weak immunity, poor health, and increased vulnerability to exploitation and illness. Hunger also affects their ability to focus, learn, and engage in any form of education or rehabilitation support.
This project will set up a structured feeding program that provides daily meals to identified street children in selected communities. Outreach teams will locate and engage these children, ensuring they receive consistent, safe, and nutritious food. The project will also create safe feeding points where children can access meals regularly.
The project will reduce hunger and improve the health and wellbeing of street children in Ghana. Regular meals will improve their physical strength, mental focus, and overall stability. Over time, this can support reintegration into education, vocational training, or family care systems, helping them transition away from street life into safer environments.
