More cribs to more happy babies!

By Luisa Fernanda Tobon Ruiz | Communications

Activities that make them happy :)
Activities that make them happy :)

We can’t be more grateful with you and your awesome help. Thanks to your donations, our babies in Pivijay, Magdalena, a little town located in the North of Colombia, are happier and healthier than ever.

Right now, we have the capacity to attend 140 boys and girls between six months and four years, among them 25 babies at risk whose need a proper place to develop. We want to provide them with the best care possible and that’s why we host this project.

During these three months we got 5 new cribs and they are under construction. While we wait for them to be ready, 10 of our babies placidly sleep on a comfy crib at our Crib Room One.  Each of them has their own space what is absolutely great, but, since we pretend to give more and more babies better chance at life, we still need to finish the Crib Room Two with 10 more cribs plus the 4 new ones we got already.

Meantime, we keep leading activities that focus on the early stimulation of the children to development different skills on their tiny bodies and brains according to their ages and to prevent cases like one we had during this time when a baby came to us with malnutrition.

Thanks to you, we were able to help him and, today, he is growing up as good as he deserves to. You should be very proud of yourself! Well, we are so we want to encourage you to keep donating, telling people you know about our work and receiving the big THANK YOU we have for you.
