Christmas at the Pivijay Children's will be a happier one this year, thanks to your generosity 10 of the littlest babies in the home will have a cozy and warm bed to sleep on, the best present! So far we have 10 of the 25 cribs we need, but with your help we also a have a new mattress, pillow and blanket for each of the babies to sleep safely and comfortably.
The Pivijay Children’s Home is home to 25 baby girls and boys that have gone through some difficult times despite their short lives most of them belong to at risk families that often can’t feed or care for them properly, and are in great need of love and support.
The cribs in the home were old and rusty due to the high humidity of Pivijay, which is a great health and safety risk for the babies that spend most of their days lying down and playing in the cribs. The new cribs made of durable wood, will give these little ones a safe and healthy space to sleep comfortably and grow, allowing at least 10 of the 25 babies to sleep by themselves.
Thanks to your generosity we have done a lot already, but we need to ensure the other 15 babies can also have their best chance at life. We are encouraging volunteers and allies to donate too, reaching out to donors and social organizations in the region, it’s been difficult but we won’t give up until we can provide the best care for these children.
Please consider sharing this project with your family and friends, your donations and help spreading the word will not only change the life of the babies that currently live in the Home, but more importantly it will provide the home with a healthy and appropriate space to receive future babies as they come, a chance at a better life for the town’s next generations.
Thanks to your generosity the babies at the Pivijay home will have a cozy and happier Christmas!
