Our is a place where baby girls and boys, most of them part of at risk families that cannot afford their properly caring and feeding, live during an important part of their days.
This is an on-earth paradise for children and families living difficult times in rural areas of Colombia, and is growing up! Currently, we have two cribs rooms where we attend 25 babies between six and 23 months, each of the rooms with a caring professional and a caring assistant. We couldn’t have got them without your generosity.
These people are extremely qualified to keep the kids nice and safe, every day, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., while their parents are working and trying to give them a better opportunity at life.
What we are trying to say here is your donations are a big help, not just for us and our children’s home, but for the families too. You are giving them the chance to build a future full of hope, happiness and love where they can actually support their boys’ and girls’ lives. And we are absolutely grateful with you for that.
Along the day, children receive integral attention which includes 75% of the feeding they must have during that period. Also, their time is taken in different moments: welcome, let’s explore, let’s create, let’s play, let’s eat and let’s go home. Thought these moments and different activities, we want to take care of all their needs and develop their character, creativity and sociability.
Thanks to your help, the baby girls and boys of the Pivijay Children’s home, can have more than a mattress to sleep on, they can grow happily and healthy, surrounded by an appropriate space where they can be themselves. And it is not just that because as you help us to keep this project up, you are providing a chance at a better life for the town’s next generations. Let’s grow up together then!
