The AFRICA INTERCULTURAL DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT TRUST (AIDEST) seeks donations to help 120 poor household farmers located in Rakai in Southern region of Uganda to overcome the challenges of food insecurity, poor nutrition in children and mothers, end abject poverty and become climate resilient, and achieve lasting prosperity during two harvesting seasons and beyond. Poverty is seen as one of the greatest crisis facing humanity. Over 700 million people around the world are living in poverty! Children safer the most because they go hungry and are without sufficient education or shelter because of poverty and lack of food, however though their mothers sacrifice feeding themselves to feed their children instead, and report has it, over 700 million people around the world are living in poverty!
Equipping family members and household farmers we work with are dedicated to gain the knowledge and farming techniques, access necessary tools, and confidence to overcome the challenges of abject poverty, fight food insecurity and become climate resilient, and achieve lasting prosperity during harvesting season and beyond. That's why the entire AIDEST Team is inviting you to be one of our FIRST DAY or MONTHLY Donors to support some of the poor farmers in rural areas improve their livelihoods.
Improved household income through gaining knowledge and farming techniques, access direct product market. This will enable poor farmers obtaining wealth and improve their lives. Other farmers will learn from the 150 individual families who gained the knowledge and skills of caring for the crop until harvesting time, crop management and technology skills to monitoring their crops and search for market online, thus enabling youths to stay and earn money from their own villages and end migration.
