Amid the severe water crisis affecting displaced families in Al-Hassan Camp in northern Gaza, access to safe and clean water has become a daily struggle. With damaged infrastructure and limited sources of potable water, families are forced to wait for hours each day just to secure enough water for drinking and basic household needs.
Thanks to your generous donations, our team carried out a clean water distribution campaign for displaced families living in the camp. Water tankers delivered safe drinking water to households facing acute shortages, helping hundreds of people access clean water while reducing the health risks associated with contaminated water—especially for children, the elderly, and other vulnerable individuals.
During the distribution, our field team witnessed the immense level of need as families lined up with buckets and containers, patiently waiting for their turn. Despite the difficult circumstances, expressions of gratitude were evident, as receiving clean water meant being able to drink, cook, and maintain basic hygiene—essentials that have become increasingly difficult to obtain.
Providing clean water is about far more than meeting a basic necessity. It helps protect families from waterborne diseases, preserves their dignity, and offers a sense of security during an ongoing humanitarian crisis.
