Alongside our food assistance programs, Amal Alumma Organization continues to respond to the basic needs of displaced families in Gaza by distributing clean drinking water in areas and camps where access to safe water remains extremely difficult.
Through one of our programs, and thanks to the support of our donors, we were able to provide clean water to approximately 600 affected and displaced families in Gaza over a three-month period, at a time when access to clean water has become one of the most urgent humanitarian needs for the population.
Many families living in displacement face severe challenges in obtaining safe water for drinking and daily use. Providing clean water is therefore not an additional form of assistance—it is a fundamental humanitarian necessity that directly affects the lives of every member of a family, especially children.
Through these initiatives, we strive to ease some of the daily suffering faced by families and help ensure that assistance reaches those who need it most in the hardest-hit areas.
Water is life. When we provide water to a displaced family, we give them more than water—we give them the ability to get through another day with greater safety and dignity.
