For families in Gunung Batur, Cilegon, Banten, accessing clean water is a daily struggle. During the dry season, declining spring water levels and dried-up wells force residents to rely on a single natural spring. Mothers must carry water containers, including large gallons, along steep and rocky paths for 1–2 kilometers just to meet their families’ daily needs.
As part of our ongoing efforts to ease this burden, ASAR Humanity distributed 8,000 liters of clean water to 100 families through two water tank trucks on July 8, 2026. InshaAllah, we will continue striving to provide assistance while working toward long-term solutions, such as boreholes, piped water systems, and other sustainable sources.
