Quarterly Project Report

By Bernadette Tembo | Vice Secretary

Dear Supporters,

We would like to sincerely thank you for supporting our project, *“Provide Chlorine to 500 Families Using Wells.”* Your support is helping us work toward improving access to safer water for families in our community.

We apologize for the delay in providing this quarterly project update. We would like to be transparent about the current status of the project.
We have received the funds for this project, but the funds have *not yet been spent*. The planned project activities have not yet commenced, and the funds remain available for the intended activities.

During this period, our organization experienced an important organizational transition. Previously, we operated from the premises of one of our members. We were advised by the relevant government authorities that it was not advisable for the organization to continue operating from a member's premises and that we needed to establish an official office.

We therefore began setting up an official office for our organization from scratch. This process has taken longer than anticipated and has delayed the commencement of our project activities.

Our office is now almost complete, and we are preparing to move forward with our projects. We believe having a proper office will not only strengthen our organization but will also benefit the community we serve. It will provide us with a more stable and professional base from which to coordinate activities, work with community members, keep proper project records, and respond more effectively to the needs of families we support.

We remain committed to providing chlorine to families using wells and improving water safety in the communities we serve. Once our office arrangements are finalized, we will be in a stronger position to begin implementing the project properly and responsibly.
Progress on Establishment of Our Official Office

We are pleased to share photographs showing the progress made in establishing our official office. The photographs below demonstrate the work that has been undertaken to create a suitable and dedicated working space for the organization.

This office represents an important step in strengthening our organizational capacity and will provide a stable base from which we can coordinate our projects, engage with community members, maintain proper records, and monitor our activities more effectively.

We sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding, and support. Your contribution remains important to us, and we are committed to using the funds for their intended purpose and reporting honestly on our progress.

With gratitude,

Bernadette Tembo
