Due to financial difficulties in acquisition of lands in Cameroon, the agricultural sector has become neglected following increases in food insecurities and surging prices. FCDA intends to provide youths with farmlands and all necessary work tools for food sustainability as well as job creation, improve livelihoods and wealth generation. 70% of youths in Cameroon are unemployed, although potentials in the agriculture sector in Cameroon amid World's Population to reach 9 billion by 2050.
Acquisition of land, registration, training and education of youths, partitioning of land and distribution of tools, clearing, planting (Maize, Plantains, Potatoes, Carrots, Beans, Pepper, Cabbage, Cassava and Livestock), Maintenance, Harvesting of crops, Warehousing and Packaging, Sales of output, Reporting and Evaluation of project, Submission of report to stakeholders and feedback analysis.
This project will impact 300 youths, providing them opportunity to generate wealth of at least $1,000 per year, enhance global food security, improve livelihoods and financial sustainability. It should be noted they shall be able to make a family, empower the younger generations as well. Crime waves shall be reduced as most of these youths will engage in full time agricultural activity.
