Misr El-Kheir Foundation is pleased to share positive progress on the project to provide clean drinking water to a remote village in Upper Egypt. With your generous support, we have completed the installation of the main water pipeline, household connections, and filtration units. Water quality tests confirmed that the supply now meets national health standards.
Today, families in very remote areas have safe and reliable access to drinking water. This has reduced the burden on women and children who previously walked long distances to collect unsafe water, and has improved overall health and daily living conditions.
Over the past period, MEK team carried out:
Installation of the main water pipeline and household connections
Water quality testing to ensure compliance with national health standards
Community awareness sessions on safe water use and hygiene
As a result, families can access to clean water.
We sincerely thank each donor for making this impact possible. Your support has improved health, dignity, and quality of life for an entire community.
