Supporting Mobility for 55 People with Disabilities in Lahore

Alkhidmat Foundation distributed free wheelchairs to 55 people with disabilities in Lahore, helping address their mobility needs. This assistance aims to support greater independence and make everyday activities more accessible.

Story / Update

A wheelchair can make a meaningful difference in a person’s daily life, supporting movement, choice, and participation in their community. For individuals and families unable to afford one, receiving a wheelchair removes an important financial barrier to mobility support.

Through this distribution in Lahore, Alkhidmat Foundation provided 55 people with wheelchairs at no cost. The assistance aims to help recipients move more comfortably and participate more easily in family life, education, work, and social activities, according to their individual circumstances.

This initiative reflects Alkhidmat’s commitment to supporting people with disabilities with dignity and promoting inclusion within communities.
