This project aims to provide 100 wheelchairs to underprivileged and disabled individuals across Pakistan. Many face severe mobility challenges due to poverty and lack of access to assistive devices. By providing wheelchairs, Alkhidmat Foundation will help restore independence, improve mobility, and enable beneficiaries to access education, employment, and community participation with dignity and hope.
Thousands of people in Pakistan live with physical disabilities and cannot afford wheelchairs. Without mobility support, they remain dependent on family members, unable to attend school, work, or participate in community life. Limited healthcare access and poverty worsen their isolation. The lack of affordable wheelchairs keeps many trapped in immobility, reducing their quality of life and economic opportunities
This project will provide 100 wheelchairs to individuals who cannot afford them, enabling mobility, independence, and social inclusion. By restoring movement, beneficiaries can access education, employment, and healthcare, reducing their dependency on others. Alkhidmat Foundation will identify deserving individuals through local networks to ensure fair distribution and lasting impact on their quality of life
In the long term, this project will help beneficiaries regain basic mobility and confidence, allowing them to participate more actively in daily life. Some may pursue education or small income activities, while families will face less caregiving burden. Though limited in scale, the project will create a visible difference in individual lives and highlight the importance of accessible mobility support in local communities.
