Rhino Protection in Full Force

G'Day to all our AWESOME Supporters!

Is it me or is 2023 flying through time? Well although it seems to be going fast we have been super busy and actually achieved lots this year and it's simply down to your donations and support so while we smile we hope you smile with us as we are protecting our rhino's together.

It really is AMAZING for us to be able to report that we have not lost one rhino over this year but it has been tough and our anti poaching team have caught many attempts each and every day. It is still unbelievable to us that each day we are faced with new and innovative approaches by the poachers to get into the reserves and national wild parks to find a rhino to poach, however as quickly as they change and improve their tactics so do we and this is all because of your support!

We now have 10 ex-race horses and rangers doing 24/7 perimeter checks, having a presence 24/7 helps to deflect poachers and using ex-racehorses they are not a threat to any of the wildlife and as well as giving them a purpose upon retirement we are also doing our bit for the environment by not using as many diesel. As well as this we have a large K9 team that are able to offer fast response when we are alerted to trespassers from our motion cameras. All this has been funded through your donations, we also use donations to help fund the dog and horse food each month and in the future we are looking to install more camera's as we are finding this a really great way to protect these amazing animals.

Thanks again and until next time, we hope you keep smiling with us!
