Protect orphans and abandoned children in Nepal

 “Namaste, I am SARASWATI of 12 years old studying on class-6. Today, I got new life. I am very happy now.  I never knew what was happening to me. It was very difficult to me to fight with this severe pain on my abdomen. So many times I have been unconscious and my school   teachers brought me office for rest. We are 4 siblings and my father died 6 years ago. My mother works on other’s home as a cleaner with very nominal wage. So, my mother  could not afford for my treatment. It is my fortune that I got opportunity to settle on this Orphanage where I am getting school education , food, cloth and medical care and love from so many lovely people. As you all know, I had 1.8*1.0 cm sized kidney stone on my left kidney. Now, the operation is successful and I am recovering. Now, I started to go my school regularly. Specially, I THANK to ANN madam  for giving me new life. You covered all medical expenses to me. I am also Thankful to Leila sis, SDO Team and all other respected sir, madam for your love and blessings to me” 

We are so glad to share the Educational Progress of our Orphans and Abandoned Children they obtained in ANNUAL EXAM. 5 girls achieved Outstanding Performance with A+  results. They all are upgraded on upper class. A big congratulations to you all girls  for your wonderful Results:

DOLMA, Class-3 received Average Grade-A+  with Outstanding performance.

PEMBA, Class-2 received Average Grade-A+  with Outstanding performance.

SUSMITA, Class-3  received Average Grade-A+  with Outstanding performance.

SRIJANA, Class-1  received Average Grade-A+  with Outstanding performance.

SABITA, Class-LKG  received Average Grade-A+  with Outstanding performance.

SARASWATI, Class-6  received Average Grade-B+  with  Very Good performance.

 DURGA, Class-5  received Average Grade-B+  with  Very Good performance.

ANJU, Class-7 received Average Grade-B  with  Good performance.

RANI(PRIYA), Class-8  received Average Grade-B  with  Good performance.

According to performances and age group, Durga is upgraded  from class-3 to class-5 and Susmita is upgraded from class-1 to class-3. Rest other girls are upgraded normally on upper classs.

Children are very happy on their new classes with new books and new dresses with new dreams .

Priya, Anju and Durga participated on 3 days long educational tour to Gorkha which was organized by their school. Children  participated actively on Parent’s-Day at school. They all participated on Fashion Show, games, dancing on folk songs and also enjoyed on food festivals too.  Children happily celebrated Holi( colors) festival with great joy among them and with other community children. They also enjoyed on feast and festival of Nepali New Year’s Celebrations with community people. They also celebrated Mother’s Day and gave hand written cards to orphanage care giver sister and to other madam. 

We would like to extend our heartiest Thanks to dear friend ANN for your love ,kindness and covering all the medical expenses on operation, diagnosis  medicines and bed charges to Saraswati for the operation of Kidney Stone.  ANN, you  made this possible. We also Thanks to Kathmandu Model Hospital for granting  on an average of 50% discount on Operation cost and bed charge to Saraswati. We  thank to Leila for coordinating and managing this fund and visiting time to time to make it possible. We are also Thankful to all beloved friends for your love , blessings and inspiration ,as a result now, Saraswati is getting well and started to go her school regularly.

We are heartily Grateful to JAN, TONY for your love and donating  beautiful T-Shirts, colours, coloring books, dolls to all children. You sang songs and played with children and made the moment very happy. Thank you so much dear friend ROB for your love and donation. Thanks dear friend  BEX for your visit and playing with children. We are also Thankful to dear friend BIPIN for your love and  worthy Donation. Thank you Ishwori for inviting all children to participate on your son’s Wedding Party. Children enjoyed a lot on this wonderful party. We congratulates to this newly married couple for their happiest life.

During this period  , we paid  new books/stationery $ 141.50, School uniforms for new session $ 72.20, House rent paid $480, fooding cost paid $300.

Dear friends, from the love and support from all of you, our hopes are sprouting and getting encouragement to protect more needy children and run the orphanage sustainably. But, due to the  highly increasing market price day by day,  it is being hard to provide the fundamental needs to our orphans and abandoned children.
