Protect orphans and abandoned children in Nepal

It’s our great pleasure to share with you all friends the Quarterly progress report of SDO-Nepal’s child-home-orphanage for the duration of 25 July to-date as follows:

1)                   Our story:

“Children were excitingly waiting for the surprising moment that the TOP-3 achievers of SDO-Orphanage on the Final exam result were going to reward the prizes from the distinguished guest Mr. Min Raj on the 7^th-Annual-Meeting(AGM). 1^st prize winner SRIJANA( 97.25 %) class-4, 2^nd  prize  winner DOLMA(93.17 %) class-5 and 3^rd prize winner PEMBA( 90 %) class-4. Congratulations girls for your Outstanding results.”

2)Achievements:

a)Educational progress of children: 

Children have received the Excellent Result in 1^st-TERM-EXAM as shown below:

• DOLMA, class-5 GPA: 3.89
• SUSMITA, class-5  GPA: 3.70
• SABITA, class-1  GPA: 3.60
• SRIJANA, class-4  GPA: 3.57
• PEMBA, class-4  GPA: 3.37
• KARISHMA, class-4  GPA: 3.29
• PRATIKSHYA, class-3  GPA: 3.09

Rest girls also received good results in this exam.

 Others:

• Dashain and Dipawali festivals falls in this month. Durga, Srijana and Susmita are staying at SDO-member’s home. Rest girls have gone with their relatives to celebrate the festivals. So SDO provided new clothes to all children and care giver sister just before of these festivals.
• 7^th Annual Meeting of SDO Nepal is conducted. Main decisions made are:

            *Endorsed the progress report of FY 2075/76

            *Endorsed the income expenditure and audit report of FY 2075/76

            *New executive committee formed for 2 years.

            *The top 3 achievers on annual exam result will be awarded with prizes.

• The rainy crops were almost harvested. So, we have sown autumn vegetables in child home’s kitchen garden.
• Saraswati has suffered from fever. But, after the medication at local clinic , she is fine now.

4) Financial status:

During this 3 months of period we paid for food /water purchased/ hygiene -$ 250. Stationery- $ 23. Cloth for children purchased- $ 190. Electricity charges paid-$ 20. Care-Giver and Tution Teacher’s salary paid- $ 370. House rent paid- $ 690. Government tax and organization renew charges paid- $120. Plastic chairs purchased- $ 48. Website renewal charge- $ 60, Auditor’s fee paid- $ 50.

• Our sincere THANKS to Rhythm Star Baby for donating Rs 30,000 from the funds raised $2 from every sale of baby products.
• We would like to THANKS to Rajan and Family for celebrating your birthday with these children and donating delicious dinner with Rs 25,000.
• Our sincere THANKS to LCK Tarakeswar for celebrating birthday of Lion Bishnu Hari and donating food stuffs, dinner with cash Rs 15,000.
• Our heartiest THANKS to Leila and Family for providing sanitary items, coloring items, fruits, vegetables.
•  Our thanks to  Srijana and Family for celebrating Birthday with children and providing  Food-Stuffs.
• Thank you Induka for donating Rs 5,000 to SDO.
• Thank you Grishma and family for providing delicious momo to children on your birthday.

 Dear friends, from the love and support from all of you, our hopes are sprouting and getting encouragement to protect more needy children and run the orphanage sustainably. But, due to the  highly increasing market price day by day and rapidly increasing education costs,   it is being hard to provide the fundamental needs to our orphans and abandoned children. Your every donation is precious and will bring the significant changes on the life of these orphans and abandoned children. we look forward for your continuous support, encouragement and hoping that you will spread your kind  words to support on our Cause. These are also your own children.
